About Daphna

Born in Jerusalem, 1957

Has a Masters degree in the Visual Arts, with Art & Printmaking studies in Israel, Florence and The U.S.A.

A member of the International Association of Art, Jerusalem Branch.

International Fellow, The Rutgers Centre for Innovative Print and Paper, Rutgers University, NJ, USA

Owns a studio of art and etching in Jerusalem, where she creates, teaches etching, offers studio facilities and exhibits the studio artistsí work..

Is significantly experienced and involved in Art Teaching and Educating Through Art

Conceived, Initiated and currently running a Bedouin Heritage Community Art Project, The Negev, Israel

Twice a recipient of "Artist Teacher Project Grant" of the Ministry of Culture and Education, Israel, (2004 -5) and a grant by The Foundation of Educational Initiatives, Israe (2005).

Lectured in the Leeds Univ. Arts & Education program in Jerusalem & Tel-Aviv

Currently teaches the creative process and the teaching of art to educators and art educators.

 

Worked, assisted and studied in printmaking studios in Israel, Italy and The U.S.A.

Participated in all The IMPACT International Printmaking Conferences,
